Broccoli in Cream

1. Start by boiling water with salt in a large pot. Once the water is boiling, add the broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they are tender but still crispy.

2. When the broccoli is ready, drain it and place it in a bowl with cold water. This will stop cooking and preserve its vibrant color. After a few minutes in the cold water, slide it back and book it.

3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the two tablespoons of butter. When hot, add minced garlic and simmer for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

4. Add the cream and milk to the pan. Cook the mixture over medium heat and stir constantly until it begins to bubble.

5. Insert grated cheese into the cream mixture and keep stirring until completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg if you wish.

6. Add the broccoli florets to the pan and mix well to coat them with the delicious cream sauce. Cook for about 2-3 more minutes, making sure the broccoli is hot and well coated.

7. Serve hot cream broccoli as a delicious side dish for your main course.
